Through this section, we will introduce our company's in-house safety rules and regulations.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
- Use the appropriate PPE provided to personnel.
- To request from Supervisor any other PPE that is required for use in order to carry out work safely.
REPORTING OF UNSAFE CONDITION/ACTS & ACCIDENTS
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions/acts and accidents to immediate Supervisor.
TRIP AND FALL
- If you spill your food and drinks, clean it immediately.
HOUSEKEEPING
- Maintain good housekeeping and the place of work must be kept free of obstruction and from any substance likely to cause slip, trip or fall.
RISK ASSESSMENT (RA)
- Perform RA for all work activities to be carried out.
- Use the appropriate hand tools for the work, and all hand tools must be visually checked for any defects before use.
SAFE WORK PROCEDURES (SWP)
- Comply to all SWP.
- Inform Management if SWP is not up to date.
SAFETY AWARENESS
- Participate actively in the safety and health inspections, meeting or discussions.
SAFETY AND WARNING SIGNS
- Obey safety and warning signs posted.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT
- Must not operate/use machinery and equipment unless authorized.
- Must possess Certificate of Competency after training.
WORK SAFE BE SAFE
- Always perform work safely.
- All works at height of 3m or more are prohibited without the Permit-To-Work (PTW).
- All works at height below 3m shall comply with the Fall Prevention Plan.
